Tamarind Glazed Carrots
Ingredients
2 tbsp Tamarind Paste
1 1/2 tsp Water
1 tsp Raw Honey
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Chili Flakes
Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
4 Carrot (medium, cut in half lengthwise)
1 tbsp Cilantro
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400ºF (205ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together the tamarind, water, honey, cumin, and chili flakes. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
Place the carrots on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the carrots all over with the tamarind mixture. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes or until the carrots are tender. Top with cilantro and enjoy!

Refrigerate in an airtight container for up to three days.
Serving Size
One serving is equal to approximately 1 1/2 cups.
More Flavor
Add garlic and red onion.
No Cilantro
Omit or use parsley or green onion instead.
